When you press the brake pedal, you should see the pin slide in and the top of the assy. pulls down to unlock the shifter. With the switch in this position, you can insert a 1/2" long piece of 3/8" vacuum hose between the switch and the shifter plate to lock the assy. in the open position.Step 3.
